Yarn Karma

Yay! I got some offers on my yarn that I posted on the Good Yarn Karma blog http://goodyarnkarma.blogspot.com/
I asked for sock yarn, like I need more of that, but ya know, new sock yarn is always wonderful.

And back to school

So school started and while I normally have a month before I start working in the classroom I got strong armed into teaching knitting this first month. 20 kids in a classroom with three adults! Two classes per day twice a week.
The good news is that some of them know how to knit already and are low maintenance.
The bad news is that it 20 kids in a room!
Yesterday was our first day and it went better than I had hoped.

Finishing in sight

The end is in sight! I'm nearly finished with my Ribby Pulli. I love the Louet Gems and the Claudia yarns. I also have a new sock (yes that is singular) on the needles for the shop. It's a new colorway from Claudia - A's - in the green and gold of the Oakland Athletics
